Over the years, your partnership has been instrumental in helping One House at a Time’s Beds for Kids program ensure that no child in our community has to sleep on the floor. Together, we’ve provided tens of thousands of children with a safe, comfortable bed — giving them not only a place to rest, but a foundation for better health, learning, and confidence.

As we look toward the future, the demand for beds continues to grow, while funding has become less predictable. To ensure the long-term sustainability and viability of this vital program, we are introducing a Referral Partner Membership Model beginning in FY2026.

This model helps us:

• Maintain consistent resources so every eligible child receives a bed when they need it.

• Plan ahead responsibly as referrals increase each year.

• Strengthen the partnership between OHAAT and the agencies that make our work possible.

We recognize that every organization’s capacity and resources are different. That’s why support can take several forms — through a membership fee, a program donation, or a sponsorship of Beds for Kids events or initiatives. Each of these options contributes directly to sustaining the program and ensuring that every child referred has a bed of their own.
